Troop 600/Pack 600 Clearwater Florida is part of a youth mentorship initiative chartered by Mount Olive AME and supported by their Community Development Corporation. Mount Olive AME Community Development Corporation (CDC) serves North Greenwood, Clearwater.

 

Mt. Olive’s scouting ministry, Troop 600, uses critical thinking activities, strategic planning skills and empowerment exercises as an organizational framework to engage and introduce the youth to the American scouting experience. The staff use mentoring skills, on-site training, and camping/field exercises, to help youth develop emotionally, mentally, socially, and physically. With the safe space to be themselves with support from the mentor team, Troop 600 has produced a number of Eagle Scouts, the highest ranking in Boy Scout honor. We are looking forward to seeing more Eagle Scouts to come from Troop 600!

 

Becoming a Scout now opens doors later!  

 

MTO Troop600 is open to any young man within the age ranges mentioned above in the North Greenwood or surrounding communities. 

Troop 600 builds character, discipline, and respect within the scouts that spreads abroad to the community they are led to lead and serve!
