Seniors Fun & Fit
The J.C. Rembert Literacy and Reading Program is working to promote literacy and increase reading in the lives of our most vulnerable elementary children, middle school and high school students in North Greenwood & surrounding communities with the help of teachers, volunteers, and role models. There should be no literacy gap among our children. We believe that a culture of reading can be created in North Greenwood families to foster in our children a love for reading that is so critical to success in all school subjects and life.

Mission
To promote increased reading among the youth in the James C. Rembert Program through engaging, fun, interactive, reading-centered educational activities that foster a love of reading and lifelong learning, within a supportive, secure, and nurturing environment.
Core Philosophy
We believe that the key to lifelong reading is 'Joyful Agency.' By transforming reading from a task into a self-driven adventure, we cultivate an environment where youth don't just know how to read, but actively choose to read.

When Do We Meet:
Every 2nd & 4th Thursday of every month on the Mt. Olive Campus in the J.C. Rembert Library which is housed in the Enrichment Center.

We welcome our community youth, young adults and children to join us in gaining greater understanding in reading fundamentals & Multicultural History!
