Ministry of Caring for Our Displaced Brothers and Sisters
Building a Stronger Community through serving
and fellowship
Through growing community partnership, the team actively seeks ways to compassionately care for our displaced brothers, sisters and their families.
Currently once a month and holidays, our Angels have access to toiletries, clothing, hot meals through Metropolitan Ministries, and health screens through Pinellas Health Department. The best part of the day is coming together with the Angels as the Beloved community, connecting through the gift of fellowship in a safe, positive, & caring environment.

Shower Days for Our Angels
At Mt. Olive AME Church, our mission is to serve our community in every way possible. We are proud to partner with ShowerUp of Tampa Bay to provide a simple, but important service: showers for those in need. It’s our way of letting our neighbors in need know that we see them, we care for them, and we’re here to offer support. On the first and third Tuesdays of each month, we invite you to join us in this effort to make a positive impact in the lives of those who need it most.
